- I never put too much thought into whether or not having and maintaining a blog would be a good or bad thing, but I've realized that it has been the therapy my life has needed for a very long time. It's an outlet. So good or bad, read it... Deal with it... Enjoy.

Bye bye iPhone, welcome home Mr. Blackberry Bold!

Ok, as it turns out, the iPhone is NOT the greatest phone ever, for me. Could I have eventually dealt with the fact that I type about as fast as a 3 year old… Probably. Could I have eventually gotten over the fact that I have fat-thumb disease… Maybe. But the one thing I just can NOT sacrifice is the so-sub-par its too sub-par to be sub-par battery life. It is absolutely pathetic, and very unlike Apple. I will say this though, that phone/company/community sure do make some tight apps. Only problem being, after downloading them, I’m going to want to play with them, and the battery won’t last that long. Boo…

That being said, I went a back to AT&T and got myself they new Blackberry Bold. I gotta tell ya, for everything that mattered to me, the Blackberry wins hands down. One of the biggest downfalls for me was, the virtual keyboard. Although Apple did a nice job, almost perfect job, with auto-correct, its just not good enough. If you don’t have thumbs the size of an 8 year olds pinkies, you will make mistakes… Lots of them. With the BB’s QWERTY keyboard, I’m back to speed texting/emailing once again.

For me, when it comes to the calendar, notes/tasks, camera/video recorder (which Apple doesn’t have), and a few other things like that, the Blackberry is superior. When it comes to those things, simplicity, speed, and ease are what you need. It shouldn’t take night classes at the local community college to remember to go to the dentist next Thursday. For me, that’s what it took. Now, in all fairness, it could very-well be part fat-thumb disease, and part brain being pre-trained for Blackberry so I’m looking for things in the wrong places, etc, but I could just never get a grasp on the whole, touchy touchy thing. I will miss those apps though. I mean, c’mon… How cool is UrbanSpoon and Loopt and Shazam… Just to name a few. I had fun playing with Zippo Lighter® as much as the next guy, but I just couldn’t get past the fundamentals of the phone lacking so much.

I’ve moved on, and couldn’t be happier. The Bold is quite an upgrade from it’s predecessor. They still could do some upgrading in certain areas, but to finally get to REAL HTML mail is heavenly.

I don’t know, I think I’m just weird and am asking for too much out of my cell phone, but hey, they make ‘em, I just use ‘em.

I’m sure there are more Blackberry Bold ramblings to come. Stay tuned.

And yes, the back of the phone is black leather. It’s cool as hell and feels wonderful in your hand.

Just wanted to give props to Peter’s photo skillz. If you go to LINK>Peter’s Site you’ll see that he’s changed his banner picture from San Francisco to a SWEET photo-stitched picture of the Detroit skyline from the Ren Cen all the way to the Ambassador Bridge. It’s truly an awesome photo. Just wanted to give Pete props on a super tight photo.

It looks like one of those photos that you see in the mall, of your city’s skyline or nightlife. Totally professional. Nice job, dude. See the full sized photo on his sites banner, or on LINK>Peter’s Flickr Page

Good Luck McCain/Palin. Sadly, I think you’ll need it.

I have my fingers crossed, I’m saying my prayers and eating my vitamins, like Hulk Hogan said, but I’m not sure it’ll all be enough to have McCain/Palin pull out this election. I hope they do better than my pessimistic attitude thinks they’ll do. :-(

It's November 4th... Get out and vote!!

Good luck, John and Sarah! Whether “we” win or lose, you had my vote. I’m sorry so many people were able to be snowballed. It’s amazing what a billion dollars in advertising can do to a persons ability to think clearly.

Stay strong!

This is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. This is Megan’s retarded dog. It’s literally retarded. Is this not the nastiest lookin’ thing you’ve ever seen? Who would A) Want this nasty thing, and B) Dress up a retarded dog to look like a retarded dog. Most people do things like that to cute little dogs. Well, as it turns out, when you do it to an ugly dog, they just look pathetic, which then makes the owner look like an idiot.

That Megan chick is so far out of touch with reality that the day daddy cuts her off, she’s not gonna know how to survive. It’s troubling that “Tanning” constitutes one of her daily regimens. What a waste.

Here’s the mutt.

Barstool Economics…

Read this on Peter’s blog, and had to pass it on to my people… How great is this?!!

Barstool Economics
Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes
to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go
something like this:

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that’s what they decided to do.

Some of you, you know who you are, may see your phones at the beginning of the video, most of us will see our FIRST phone at the beginning of the video. Either way, this is a fun little evolution chart for the cell phone.

And you wonder, can it suck more than it already does?

Well, friends and family, yes it can. Today, work sucks worse than ever. I was told today that, as early as Monday, I’ll be going to afternoons. AFTERNOONS!! Can you believe that crap?!?!! I mean, I thought I was done working on that shift. The ONLY good thing about our company going in the crapper was that, it was becoming dayshift-only. Who could ask for anything better than everyone being on days? Well, the morons running “FordS” feel like we need to flood the dealerships with 2009’s so fast that we need to add a shift to keep up with the huge demands for F-150’s right now. All the while knowing that in 4 or 5 months, that the schedule is going to plummet into the crapper again… Which is when I’ll get reduced out of afternoons, going back on dayshift, but in another crappy department, I’m sure.

There are a few things I know for sure:

1) I HATE my job
2) I HATE everything about how my job works
3) I HATE everything about the automotive industry
4) I HATE everything about FORD’S. Their management is an absolute joke. If I owned a 7-Eleven, I wouldn’t let a single one of them mop my floors.
5) The retirement package is about 40k too little to retire.

My career as I know it, blows.

I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!!!
